Solar Decathlon

Esta competición entre equipos de arquitectos universitarios para diseñar y construir prototipos de casas que funcionen sólo con energía solar, se celebró hace un año en Madrid, junto al río Manzanares y por primera vez fuera de Estados Unidos.

Se volverá a celebrar en 2012, y ya está en marcha el concurso.

This competition of university architect teams for designing and building house prototypes only supplied by solar energy, had place a year ago in Madrid, next to Manzanares river, and for the first time out of the USA.
Now the 2012  edition is beginning and the competition has already started.
